This is a David Guetta music promotion video and is the only one found to have been based upon free running, and has the sport being performed throughout alongside dancers. The video uses made different angles and settings in order to make the most of the stunts and show them off to their greatest advantage. They have used several low angle shots in order to gain different perspectives of the free runners, giving it a more dramatic look and effect to the audience, who at points it seems like they are the ones being jumped over, rather than buildings. They have used natural lighting throughout, however this has been made far easier by being filmed outside, this is the plan for the free running that will be used in our music video. This suggests that because natural lighting has been used it will have greater effect due to the shadows that will be created by the lighting and movement within the shots. In the music video they have also used very casual and loose dressing for both the free runners and dancers, which provides a relaxed and almost effortless atmosphere as though it is something that is seen and done everyday. I hope to apply this to the music promotion video made for the coursework as it will create a sense of realism and effortlessness in the movements that are being made.

Bjork- Dull Flame of Desire.
This video was made by three different directors who were all given a section of the song to produce. It focuses on the face and facial made by the artists on the track, using different techniques and special effects. These three different techniques have all used different lighting levels and causes the audience to focus in on the imagery placed infront of them. However, the video is solely focused upon them singing which shows great skill in lipsing technique. The special effects used by the first producer denotes the imagery of stars that move around to form the faces of the singing artists; this technique is engaging for the audience and draws you in to the music video. This is then followed by a black and white sequence in which another special effect has been applied to the real person. Lastly, there is less special effect used by the third director and it is far more focused on lighting; this therefore shows a more sinister representation. This video has helped to inspire a possibility to use closeups of the singer in our music video to try and show skills in lipsing as well as use lighting to create a more emotional and personal effect upon the audience.

Sinead O'Conner- Nothing compares to you
This video pans over a city landscape to begin with and then fades into Sinead O'Conner using a close up. This shot then remains the same throughout the entire music video, keeping her face in the frame at all times. The camera does not move but allows the singer to make small amounts of movement with her face whilst lipsing to the song. This shows tremendous skill as it only uses dark lighting and has no special effects making the lipsing by the artist very strong indeed. This technique is similar to the effect to try and be achieved by the music promotion video made for the coursework.
